So obsessiveicons just announced the winners of their latest contest! And I got 3rd place! Woo!!

So I haven't been making icons as much lately... Mostly because there was a huge hiatus from obsessiveicons and their icontests. So without those driving me, I lost momentum. Kara requested some a while back, so I made them. And she requested some again about a week ago. So I figured I'd go ahead and post them. There's also a couple of miscellaneous ones too.

Please be specific (I want blue grass and a pink sky) rather than vague (An icon would be totally cool!). So far, these are the requests I have filled. Well, I'm trying this out as a graphics journal. We'll see how it goes ;)

Some basics:

I decided to make a separate journal for graphics. Just because. My regular journal is over at fieryminge

I will make sporadic posts with things.

I most likely will take requests (in moderation). This is a hobby for me. I don't devote hours on end to it. I have a life and this relaxes me. So if you make a request, I will get it done, don't worry. I just won't spend every waking moment on it.

I reserve the right to become Friends Only.

If you'd like, I will post tutorials on how I've done something.

I use The Gimp. It is a perfectly acceptable program... it has everything that Photoshop has except the pricetag. The Gimp is free and I love it. I'm getting better poking around the program and testing my abilities.



I guess that's it for now... I'll work on making things so I am actually able to post. And I'll beef up my userinfo too.
